Kristen Stewart Covers Fame Comic Book Series - All Headline News

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) - "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart is following the footsteps of her co-star and boyfriend Robert Pattinson by appearing on the cover of a new Fame comic series two months after he did. The 19-year-old actress signed a deal with Bluewater Productions for a Fame series that will cover her life story.

Fame comic series covers biographies of celebrities in graphic form. Stewart's 32-page edition will be available in two covers: cover A by Juanmar Studios and cover B by comic book artist Randy Green.

Kim Sherman, who also penned Pattinson's entry, wrote Stewart's Fame life story.

She said, "For Twilight fans, Kristen Stewart is a woman whom fans long to be and love to hate. But Kristen has been in the public eye for years, and her career as a serious actor spans dozens of films over a 10-year period of time."

"My goal with this biography was to show readers the depth residing in this young woman and the roles she's beautifully tackled through a serious of spot shots, pinups and word art."

Warren Martineck provided the art on the book.

Fame: Kristen Stewart will hit stores in June and will retail for $3.99.

- The movie version of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" manages to put flesh and bone on the stick figures in Jeff Kinney's wildly successful cartoon novel without altering the book's mildly subversive comic tone.

That fidelity plays mostly for the good, though the book's moron-plagued, middle-school protagonist — a sixth-grade boy, who, let's be honest, comes off as kind of self-absorbed, lazy and petty — loses some of his appeal when viewed under the harsh light of the camera.
